Co-Founder & Director

Tom is co-founder of Pineapple Studios. As Creative Director, he oversees the full creative pipeline, from development and pitching through to final delivery.

A self-shooting Producer/Director, Tom works across Documentary and Premium Factual, specialising in access-led, immersive storytelling. He began his career at ITV in Entertainment before moving into adventure and survival formats, where he developed a reputation for working in high-pressure, remote environments.

Kim Lowry

Co-Founder & Executive Producer

Kim is co-founder of Pineapple Studios and Executive in Charge of Production, leading the company’s output across both branded and documentary content. She oversees production strategy from development through to delivery, ensuring every project is executed to the highest creative and commercial standards.

Jon Semira

Partner & Growth Strategist

Jon leads marketing at Pineapple Studios, driving growth strategy across branded content, audience development, and digital distribution. He oversees customer acquisition, paid media and performance systems, ensuring projects not only reach audiences, but scale effectively.

A performance marketing leader with nearly a decade of experience, Jon has generated over $100M+ in global revenue, building brands from unknown to category leaders. As founder of WAVEÉ and WEWE Media, he has developed and executed high-performing growth strategies across multiple industries, with a focus on scalable, data-driven marketing engines.

Michael Needham

Business Development

Michael Needham is Co-Founder of Pineapple Studios, leading business development and strategic partnerships across branded and documentary. He drives growth by securing production projects and building long-term relationships with brands, agencies, and production partners.

Michael has led multiple successful businesses in Manila. He brings a strong commercial perspective to Pineapple, ensuring sustainable growth alongside creative ambition.

Cher Aguinaldo

Editor, Documentary

Cher leads documentary editing at Pineapple Studios, shaping long-form stories from development through to final delivery. Working closely with directors and producers, Cher crafts narrative-driven edits that balance emotional depth with strong storytelling structure. With a background in marketing, Cher brings a unique perspective to the edit, combining audience awareness with creative instinct. Cher began her career in wedding filmmaking, building a strong foundation in visual storytelling, before moving into a digital marketing agency, developing content for brands across multiple platforms.

Savannah Malumbres

Production Manager

As Production Manager at Pineapple Studios, Savannah supports projects from pre-production through to final delivery. She plays a central role in keeping productions running smoothly, managing scheduling, call sheets, and coordinating across teams to ensure every project stays on track.

Kyle Rafanan

Editor, Branded

Kyle is part of Pineapple’s branded team, specialising in short-form content that’s built to perform across digital platforms. As Editor, he works closely with the creative team to shape fast-paced, engaging edits that connect with audiences and deliver for brands.
